Meta Conversions API — flawless tracking

Add your Conversions API token so BrightStar sends your ticket sales to Meta server-side — recovering the conversions browsers miss.

When you connect your Meta Pixel, BrightStar tracks your ticket funnel in the visitor's browser. That works well — but browsers miss 20–30% of conversions to ad blockers, iOS privacy limits, and cookie restrictions.

The Conversions API (CAPI) closes that gap: BrightStar also sends your events to Meta server-side, so your Ads Manager sees the full, accurate picture. It's optional, but recommended for anyone running Meta ads who wants flawless tracking. You add it once by pasting a token.

Step 1 — Generate your token in Meta

This takes about two minutes in Meta Events Manager.

  1. 1Go to business.facebook.com/events_manager and sign in with the account that owns your pixel.
  2. 2In the left sidebar, click "Data sources", then select your pixel.
  3. 3Open the "Settings" tab along the top.
  4. 4Scroll down to the "Conversions API" section, then to "Set up direct integration".
  5. 5Click "Generate access token" and copy the token it shows (it's only shown once).

Step 2 — Add it to BrightStar

Now paste it into your dashboard.

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Marketing.
  2. 2Click the Meta Pixel tile.
  3. 3Make sure your Pixel ID is filled in, then paste your token into the "Conversions API token" field.
  4. 4Click Save. Server-side tracking is now live for your events.
Your browser pixel and the Conversions API send the same event ID, so Meta automatically de-duplicates them — you'll never double-count a sale. In Events Manager you'll see each event arrive from both "Browser" and "Server".
Your Conversions API token is a secret — treat it like a password. BrightStar stores it securely and never shows it back to you or displays it in the browser. You can regenerate it anytime in Meta and paste the new one here.
