When you connect your Meta Pixel, BrightStar tracks your ticket funnel in the visitor's browser. That works well — but browsers miss 20–30% of conversions to ad blockers, iOS privacy limits, and cookie restrictions.
The Conversions API (CAPI) closes that gap: BrightStar also sends your events to Meta server-side, so your Ads Manager sees the full, accurate picture. It's optional, but recommended for anyone running Meta ads who wants flawless tracking. You add it once by pasting a token.
Step 1 — Generate your token in Meta
This takes about two minutes in Meta Events Manager.
- 1Go to business.facebook.com/events_manager and sign in with the account that owns your pixel.
- 2In the left sidebar, click "Data sources", then select your pixel.
- 3Open the "Settings" tab along the top.
- 4Scroll down to the "Conversions API" section, then to "Set up direct integration".
- 5Click "Generate access token" and copy the token it shows (it's only shown once).
Step 2 — Add it to BrightStar
Now paste it into your dashboard.
- 1Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Marketing.
- 2Click the Meta Pixel tile.
- 3Make sure your Pixel ID is filled in, then paste your token into the "Conversions API token" field.
- 4Click Save. Server-side tracking is now live for your events.
